Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 30, 2026 ยท Plain-language version for our private beta.

The short version: you can ask questions without an account. We store the minimum needed to run the service, never sell your data, never use your conversations to train AI models, and delete your data when you ask.

1. What we store

2. What we never do

3. Sensitive questions

People ask deeply personal questions here โ€” about stress, family, grief, and life decisions. Treat the chat as you would a conversation, not a confessional: avoid sharing information that could identify you or others (full names, addresses, account numbers). If you are in crisis, please contact a local helpline โ€” for example, in the US call or text 988, in the UK/Ireland call Samaritans at 116 123, in India call AASRA at 9820466726.

4. Children & family use

Dharmaly is designed for adults and teens exploring with their families. Children under 13 should use it with a parent or guardian. A dedicated family mode with age-appropriate content is planned for a later phase.

5. Your rights

6. AI disclosure

Answers are generated by an AI system guided by scriptural knowledge โ€” it is a study companion, not a guru, acharya, or religious authority. Important spiritual decisions deserve a qualified human teacher. Every answer aims to cite its sources so you can verify them in traditional texts.

7. Changes

We will update this page when our practices change (for example, before public launch when we add email verification and analytics). Material changes will be announced on the site.
